Letting customers book meetings from Zoho CRM
Zoho Bookings, Calendly or YouCanBookMe: how to choose a booking tool that checks your calendar and puts every meeting in the CRM.
Back-and-forth emails to find a meeting time cost deals. A booking page lets the customer pick a slot that suits both of you, and the meeting appears in your calendar and in Zoho CRM. Which tool to use depends on how much you want it to do.
What to look for
- Calendar check: it should read your real calendar (Google, Outlook or iCloud) so nobody books you when you're busy.
- Zoho CRM sync: bookings should create or update the Lead or Contact and log the meeting against it.
- Rules: working hours, buffers between meetings, notice periods and limits per day.
- Reminders: email or SMS reminders cut no-shows.
- Look: a booking page that matches your brand, if customers see it often.
Zoho Bookings
If you already use Zoho, start here. It connects to Zoho CRM without third-party connectors, syncs with the common calendars, and is included in some Zoho bundles, so check whether you already have it before buying anything else.
Calendly
The best-known booking tool. It's simple for customers, strong on team scheduling such as round-robin, and connects to Zoho CRM through its own integration. A good choice if your team already lives in it.
YouCanBookMe
Highly configurable, with more control over the booking page's look and the confirmation flow. It suits businesses whose booking page is customer-facing and branded, and it connects to Zoho CRM through an integration platform or webhooks.
Our rule of thumb
Use Zoho Bookings if you're on Zoho One or CRM Plus and want the least to maintain. Choose Calendly or YouCanBookMe when a team already uses it, or when you need its specific features. Whichever you choose, test the CRM side properly: book a meeting as a brand-new visitor and check that the Lead, the meeting and the owner all come out right.
